I am not a modern player. I am playing MTG Arena (for many reasons) but i'm interested in the modern format.

I really like the idea of UR Tempo, I have been looking to some decks and I was wondering if a UR Tempo list could work in modern. Something with DoS and Pteramander x4 each, would make 8 creatures. But i'm not sure which other creatures could fit here. Arclight phoenix to make it harder to wipe the board ? Or maybe vendilion clique ?

I know snapcaster is an excellent card but it costs so much (i mean to buy), plus I think it's a bit slow for a tempo deck.

Instant and sorcery cards would be classic serum vision, Thought Scour… and 1/2 mana counterspell like usual.

Do you think a deck of this kind could work ? Or it's not a good idea when izzet phoenix or US "classic" delve exist ?

Good thing is that the base of the deck is really cheap so I could start playing it and improve it (adding Vendilion, better mana base, etc)
