Hey y'all I'm looking to make the best [[thing in the ice]] deck possible. I know I won't be winning any GPs but I would like to have a decent chance at taking an FNM or two. I've gone through a few iterations which I'll be going over briefly. I'd like your suggestions/ideas/spice/etc.

First a few things I've tried that haven't worked well:
I've tried going turbo thing with [[faithless looting]] and [[bedlam reveler]] (bonus because he is a horror). But since I was drawing so many cards, bedlam was almost always a negative rather than neutral or positive card advantage. It was fun to exile a [[ancestral visions]] then play bedlam reveler the turn before it comes out from suspend.
I've tried with [[Young Peezy]] but the nonbo of flipping him and his 3-5 tokens was never fun.
I've tried with [[chasm skulker]] (he is a horror) which was pretty good, but slow as hell and weak to exile effects.

A few things that have worked well:
[[snapcaster mage]] the best creature in modern
[[opt]] [[thoughtscour]] [[serum visions]] these seem to be the core to the deck thing flipping instant speed and keeping your hand filled up.
[[anger of the gods]] wipes their field, and thing doesn't care about it.
[[pongify]] who cares about a 3/3 token when thing flips.
[[claim // fame]] it gets back thing and snapcaster for 1 mana. nuff said.
Planeswalkers [[teferi]] [[jace]] [[liliana]] [[gideon]] seem good because thing can protect them and he doesn't affect them by flipping
[[lightning bolt]] removal and a win condition
[[kolaghan's command]] powerful spell that can get back thing if it dies.
[[thoughtseize]] rip their gameplan or protect thing. But the lifeloss hurts.
——————————————————————————
Should I be looking to go turbo thing and flipping aggressively or go more control so I have time to flip it as I need to?
Thing in the Ice is my second favorite card after Snapcaster, so any help is appreciated.
