I'm just getting back into modern ever since [[Gitaxian Probe]] has been banned neutering my favorite decks. I have plenty of U/W/R staples and I'm considering going for a more control/combo finish deck since the aggro/combo cards I used to love aren't as good anymore.

The trouble is, I can't find a good finisher. Planeswalkers seem too slow to win. I thought about thopter/sword but that doesn't seem like a good idea as it relies on artifacts and graveyards, both of which are heavily sideboarded against. I don't think we are going to have a combo as good as [[Splinter Twin]] any time soon. So what finishers/combo pieces are being run these days?

I read something about storm making a comeback, but I can't see me putting money into that because any time storm does well, Wizards bans it to infinity.
