Hey, I've been here for a while and it seems like half of the posts are about trying to get into modern for cheap and asking about the different decks. I was wondering if there was support for a "project" where we could make a sticky/banner at the top of the sub for people who are asking those questions.
The thread would have information about different decks and would basically contain the knowledge that all these threads ask for, which are largely similar questions
I would like to see:
Quick rundowns of different decks (price points and summaries of decks with around 4% on MTGTop8)
Event deck info (I don't think I'd be able to contribute here very much) (the Hipsters of the Coast series seems to be the best way to go with this one)
I'm not sure if there's very much more that are asked about in the intro to modern threads but I'm curious to see what else other people would like to see in this thread.
The brief rundowns I'd want to have present are (crossouts are done primers, although you're free to improve them):
Affinity
Jund
Delver (Pyro and Fae) [/u/urpdx has volunteered for writing up the Delver list!]
Hatebear
Zoo
Merfolk
Boggles
Burn
Tron (GR, U)
Rock
UWr (Midrange and Kiki)
Faeries
Soul Sisters
Twin (Combo, Tempo, RUG)
Pod (Melira, Kiki)
Scapeshift (Blueshift, Primetime)
Storm
Edit: This project seems like a GO and so I'll be needing some help as I don't know enough decks in depth to write enough about them. I've got a couple done and you're free to add to the primers here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HYfZ2HS0uNeq2no2tSVTgDnEPZaVEA1mBSVBODf_Oq8/edit
If you want to help, send me a PM about which primer(s) you're willing to help with
