Standard disclaimer that league results dumps are not indicative of the general metagame. They are selected for variety and not proportional representation.

Apologies for missing last Friday's post! I'll probably be a little irregular for a week or two, but I shouldn't miss anything else. My intention is to shift to more of a Wednesday/Saturday schedule to hopefully get these up closer to when they're first posted, so we'll see how that goes.

ONE seems to be doing exactly what people expected in modern, so let's get to the spice! There are a few lists below, but I also wanted to shout out u/mackslc and their in-depth primer of their Mono-R Goblin Engineer list. Best post of the week, imo.

  • RG Obosh: Ah, a breath of fresh brew from aspiringspike! Quest for Pure Flame and All Will Be One win the game for 6 mana provided you can prime the pump with a bit of damage, which can be achieved with a Seal of Flame or adding a lore counter to Fable. As always, probably don't buy into this deck based on spike's results, but you can rent it for a bit of fun, and if someone casts [[Commune with Spirits]] after revealing Obosh, now you know what they're up to.
  • Temur Intruder Alarm: I don't even know where to start with DemonicTutors's list. It has a wishboard that includes [[Sulfur Elemental]] and [[Acererak the Archlich]]. It has a pseudo-Twin combo with Fable and Intruder Alarm. It has a bunch of weird Life and Limb nonsense. Hats off to anyone daring enough to pilot this deck.
  • Esper Goryo's: Mike_Jasz is expanding the BR Scam to other parts of the color pie! I'm a sucker for anything that runs Griselbrand, and this is a cool one. u/AmmiO made a video featuring this deck here, so check it out for a rundown.
  • Jeskai Affinity Breach: pete2fiddy has been innovating with this combination of Affinity and Combo Breach for a while now, and it looks like there's room for some interesting tech/flex cards (in this case, Unearth).
