Relatively new MY owner, love the car, but for the life of me I can’t understand why offline downloads for Spotify and Apple Music doesn’t exist. Sure, I get the argument that with offline downloads while at home on Wi-Fi less people would be inclined to pay for premium connectivity.
But here is my argument against that. Just make it so that offline music downloads are only available while you have premium connectivity. It would save Tesla a ton on network bandwidth costs and Spotify & Apple would be inclined because it would save them a lot in server costs.
Seems like a win win for owners, Tesla, and the streaming services. Maybe I am missing something?

What are you talking about? Phone over Bluetooth is leaps and bounds better than the shit apps using in the car using the worst possible compression of songs. Just change the settings in Spotify for maximum quality over cellular.
