Roy Morgan Polling | 15 May 2021
Post Body

Roy Morgan asked 1000 Western Australian voters on which party they would vote for if a state election were held today. The margin of error for this poll with a sample of 50% is 3.16%. The results were as follows-

Greens- 40% [ 4%]

Labor- 28% [-1%]

Dominion League- 15% [ 4%]

Nationals- 11% [-4%]

Friends of Canberra- 3% [-3%]

Religious Justice- 2 [-1%]

Explanatory notes

Greens- Good job with the first legislation of the term, which has given you a boost, but you'll need more if you're to stay like this. Even if you have a pretty good lead, if the last election's upper house result showed you anything, it should be not to get complacent!

Labor- Haven't seen much from you. If you want a chance of overtaking the Greens, then you'll need to try and take a greater policy role in this government.

Dominion League- Great activity this week, especially in debates. Keep this up with some bills and good press and you'll give the government a run for their money.

Nationals- You've essentially swapped places with the Dominion League, and a decline will continue if we don't see more activity.

Friends of Canberra, Religious Justice- Sharp decline in activity from the election, but given how low you are there's not much further to go.
