People of Western Australia,

It has been a pleasure to serve as your premier for the past 3 months. Along side the Greens we have worked to help the future of our state, bringing it into the 21st century and doing our part for Climate Change. But now it is time to move forward with the election. I know our lineup of candidates will work effortlessly for our state now and in the future.

We are facing tough competition from the Greens and Nationals but I know whatever the outcome, Labor will fight from wherever we have been called to by you, the people. Our opposition though, the Nationals are a fighting force, fighting a fight they know they cannot win. They talk about fossil fuels but they neglect their negative impacts on their environment. They talk about mines, without talking about how they hurt our environment. They are the party of Climate Change. The party of neglect, hurt, pain. If elected they will hurt our regions, not help them.

That is why you need to elect Labor. We fought for the future of our regions, of our environment, through fossil fuel reduction and renewable energy. We fought for the future of our regions, especially Karratha, helping them through their water crisis, funding and renewing their water infrastructure. We will continue to fight for the future of our regions, revitalising healthcare, education and roads. A Labor government is the government for our regions.
