YouGov Opinion Polling | 19 March 2021
Post Body

YouGov asked 1000 Western Australian voters on which party they would vote for if a state election were held today. The margin of error for this poll with a sample of 50% is 3.16%. The results were as follows-

Greens- 41% [ 1%]

Labor- 38% [ 6%]

Dominion League- 10% [NEW]

Friends of Canberra- 5% [ 2%]

Nationals- 4% [ 1%]

Religious Justice- 3% [ 1%]

New Holland- 1% [RE]

Explanatory notes

Greens- Not as much activity as usual, but the dissolution of the WA Warriors helps you a tad, as well as good press.

Labor- Big budget boost here, as well as a smaller gain from the WA Warriors vanishing.

Dominion League- Great press, and with the loss of the WA Warriors, a lot of their ex-voters are voting for you.

Friends of Canberra- Nice continued press activity!

Nationals- While the rebrand hurt you with urban voters, the dissolution of the WA Warriors helps you gain a bit of footing back as some of its rural base goes to you. More activity is needed, though.

Religious Justice- Mainly goes up because of the WA Warriors being gone. More activity is needed.

New Holland- The only reason they are back here is because the WA Warriors are gone and their small poll numbers are slightly boosted getting really lucky with MoE. Will be gone come next poll.
