"Hello to all of you today. I'm here with a message, and that is that the Greens deliver. 3 months ago, at the last election, I was one of the only party leaders to come down here, and I made concrete promises that the Greens would act on phasing in renewable energy to help stop the type of droughts that are more common. We've cut off the millions of dollars of waste in fossil fuel subsidies, and you know where we put it? Into fixing the water infrastructure here, so hopefully, we can curb the droughts here.
Across this term, it has been the Greens delivering by actually getting to work and writing the legislation. If you put us into government, we will keep acting on implementing renewable targets, curbing native forest logging, and introducing sustainable housing laws. The opposition? Well, they're all bark and no bite. The only other party leader to come up here was RMSteve with his water stunt: no substance at all, just posturing. He was more angry at the Dutch than he was at the drought, for God's sake!
Don't fool yourself into thinking this opposition is any different. If you give them the keys to power, they will run our state into a ditch. Half of them think we shouldn't even be Australian! Do you want an activist government who does nothing but whine about how bad things are, or do you want a government that delivers! Instead of pursuing independence, why don't we work with the federal government to actually get things done!
If you want a safe pair of hands this election, give your vote to the Greens so we can continue working for WA and a better future."
