Messages and thoughts from an average American, angry and pissed about the state of our world and our politicians.

Fremont is in anarchy.

It's a thought that I and many Americans barely wanted to entertain. Yesterday, I wrote that "many more Americans could be at risk, even if this individual is simply a lone actor" in regards to the attack at Union Station. I hoped and prayed that this would not occur. But, three innocent Americans have today died after an attack at the 7th Street/Metro Center station in Los Angeles. Seven more are fighting for their lives.

And, disgustingly, the terrorist who has committed these acts remains free. I could scarcely believe it the first time, but I have no words to describe the horror and anger I feel with the fact that someone has been permitted by the Fremont "community protection service" to not only commit two consecutive terrorist attacks, but run free after them both.

Really, in what sense does Fremont still have active law enforcement? I know some may accuse me of being alarmist, but the killer of ten law-abiding citizens remains on the loose. It is very possible that this evil individual could strike again. Of course Fremont residents are choosing to stay at home - who would want to go out to a public place? Who would want to use public transport after two consecutive attacks in such facilities? Who would want to send their children to school when the risk is potential death?

Honestly, it's at the point where I'm not sure which is worse. If the attacker is working in league with accomplices, then the risk for Americans increases exponentially. Who's to say that, after a second attack unpunished in Los Angeles, their accomplices couldn't launch multiple simultaneous attacks - not to mention the obvious risk of copycat attacks, given that mass murder no longer appears to be a crime in Fremont.

But if the attacker is, so to speak, a lone wolf - how fucking difficult can it be for the Fremont "community protection service" to take down one person? Both outcomes are dire to contemplate, and all suggest a complete failure of Fremont law enforcement in enforcing the law of the state. Governor Gregor_The_Beggar, who the "community protection service" is directly accountable to, should have resigned yesterday. The fact that he remains in his job, overseeing a lawless state and a useless police department, is completely unacceptable.

While one can hope that there will be no further attacks and that law enforcement will get this under control, I am extremely pessimistic of the situation. I would not be surprised if many Fremonters decide not to send their children to school tomorrow, or if they decide that the only way that they can leave their home is while armed. I am praying for my friends in Fremont, and hoping that I will not have to take similar measures myself.
