Now I may be an unfamiliar face to many of you, so I thought I ought to introduce myself.

My name is SomeBritishDude26, though I am better known as Finn.

I was born and raised in Annandale, Greater Appalachia.

I am a member of the US House of Representatives.

And I am running for the Democratic nomination for President.

So why, you may ask, would a virtual nobody choose to run for President? And that is a good question. I don't seek high office, I don't seek prestige or power, but I am never one to shirk away from a challenge. I don't want the Presidency for power or glory, I want it to make a difference, a real difference for America. We have just come out of 4 years of decay under Donald Trump and what we've seen from President Ninjja isn't much better.

We need a Democratic President now! America needs a Democratic President now!

We need to make an America which is respected again. An America where no child goes hungry, where no one is forced to sleep in the streets, where no one faces discrimination based on their race, ethnicity, nationality, creed, class, sexuality or gender identity, where anyone is capable of being anything and where no one shall have to worry or want or fear. We need a better America, one which is fit to face the challenges of the 21st century, not one which hides within itself and shuts itself away from the rest of the world. We cannot afford it, we cannot allow it.

I want to create a new Democratic America and bring new life to this country we all love.
