Amend subsection e) to subsection f)

Insert between subsection d) and subsection f) a new subsection e) as follows:

(e) the video footage from any police encounter where the body cam footage was recorded is automatically submitted as evidence in any criminal proceeding that arises from the encounter. This evidence must be presented to a jury, and shall be used by the defense and the prosecution as needed to either prove or disprove facts of the case. This shall be true whether the defendant in the case in question is a civilian, a police officer, or any other government official.

In simple terms, this amendment requires that the body cam footage be shown to a jury that is deciding the case, whether it is a case in which charges are being levied against the police officer or the other person involved.
