Post Body

Welcome to the RONR example campaign thread. On January 20th, threads like these, all labeled by region, will be setup in this subreddit. Here, candidates will “campaign” for the votes of our fictitious electorate, all with the hope of coming out victorious in the end. Campaigning accounts for 1/3 of the total result, so it is very important to not only campaign often but campaign well.

District Campaigning like this will last from Monday, January 20th to Thursday, January 23rd at 11:59 PM EST. By the end of this four (4) day period, candidates will only be able to have submitted a maximum of ten (10) events. It doesn’t matter if you spread these events out evenly or dump them all on the last day of campaigning. They will count the same, just make sure you get as many in as possible before the deadline hits Thursday night.

After Tuesday, at the midpoint of this campaign, polling will be released for all districts as well as for the Galaxy-wide list seats to give parties and players an idea as to how they are doing.

In these District Campaign threads, all events will be linked in the comments. They should follow this format—

Candidate Name

Party

District (Planet)

Event # and Day

Link to Event

As part of this explanation, I have included high-scoring example events, across all fields, in the comments. I used a fake, big-tent party called “United Republic.”
