Following the internal protocols of each party, today the Green Left Party and The Opportunities Party have agreed to merge, creating a united Green Party.
This party will take in members of each party as equal members and will see the current leadership of the Green Left Party retained, while guaranteeing TOP MPs the right to retain current ministerial positions.
As a consequence of this decision, the current TOP-Internet Party joint list is disbanded, with the Internet Party opting to be a standalone political entity.
