I would like to clarify that I am not against Elon Musk taking part in the Wave Energy Prize. We were not protesting that. We were here to protest Elon Musk’s controversial actions, such as being a large donor of the US Republican Party, a party which climate denial is incredible common. We do not support Mr Musk’s inaction on workers rights, I believe that everyone should be well treated within the workplace, but the standards of Elon’s companies are dreadful. That is why we are protesting today, so that we can spread the word of the wrongs this billionaire who has benefited over the profits of abusing his workers. This should not be someone who the media positively reports on, we need to make sure they are getting their fair share of criticism.

If the National Party can’t handle that, I’m sure Gregor would be fine to move to China. They’re also strongly critical of protest like himself.
