I seek leave to move a motion of no confidence in this government forthwith.

I move, That this House has no confidence in the Government, which has failed to maintain even the confidence of its own governing partners, has failed to pass a substantial proportion of its legislative agenda, and has failed to provide a better society for our people, our whanau, and our tamariki.

The Madam Deputy Speaker has accepted a vote of no confidence in the Government, pursuant to Article 4(3) of the Constitution, on the basis that the member presents comprehensive reasons.

The question is that the motion be agreed to. All those in favour will say Aye, and to the contrary No.

A personal vote has been called for. The Clerk will conduct a personal vote.
