Where can I find casting calls in Los Angeles?

I am an unsigned model in LA and have always had a hard time finding castings that actually pay their models. I am a 5’10” Slim model. Where should I look? Will my best bet be from paying for those online casting hubs? if so, are they even legit sites? is it worth the money? I’ve modeled in NY and haven’t had these problems and would love your help!
