JTV issue, added weapons not auto-picking up, anyone have an idea what to fix?

So I'm playing JTV and some added items don't autopickup. The first I noticed was an added crafting element from a added creature (grigg horn) and wasn't a problem.

Blackmetal spear though is a problem. I can find the file where the recipie and stats are but have no idea what I'd have to add to put it on the autopickup list the game must have of some sort (or not pick up).

If anyone knows where/what to add I'd really appreciate it, it makes using a spear sort of pointless if you lose the throw abilities main utility. Having to manually pick it up in a fight is not viable in a close fight.
