crazy acne break out when starting modafinil

I started modafinil, 200mg a day because of hypersomnia. 2 days later, overnight, i got craaaazy acne around my mouth, like I have never had before and it gets worse everyday. Like painful pustules in clusters. anyone else experienced this? did it calm down after the body gets used to the medication? is it even possible to have this reaction to the meds?
