I have treatment resistant depression, anxiety, mild/moderate adhd, chronic fatigue syndrome etc… ive been on the rollercoaster of psych meds for 3 years now & still tryna find my good combo. I’m currently on Modafinil (rx) & some other meds (antidepressant etc) and my doctor and I discussed possibly trying adding low dose Abilify to adjunct since it seems to help a lot of people. Ik Abilify has this dual mechanism thing with dopamine and i definitely have low levels .. I used to be on Adderall and we tried Abilify for a few days but I instantly felt it dull/nullify the effect of the Adderall so discontinued. Ik modafinil & adderall don’t work the same way and modafinil is milder ; Modafinil & Abilify doesn’t really seem to be a studied combo / popular combo so just wondering if anyone out there is taking the combo and their experience with it. Please include some details like what ur taking each for, dosages, side effects / interactions, if it’s helping how long did it take to start feeling better, which one u started first/was it together, etc… and if u suffer from anxiety does it have any effect (good or bad)…the more info the merrier!
