We made a mod post yesterday (funnily enough, thanking those that make valid reports to us, and telling those doing it in bad faith to knock it off) and naturally got some abuse of the report function on it.
What's interesting is that there is no "Report" option on the post where the ellipse (...) is, for myself or any of the other mods on the team on New Reddit. in old.reddit, a fellow mod was able to report it for Report abuse.
Is this by design that a Mod post (shield used, and flaired as "Mod Post") in new Reddit, or is this a bug? I suspect Mods sometimes get false reports when they make posts that explain rules, and not being able to report the abuse of the report button was annoying.

The work-around for this is a little non-obvious; you have to report it on Reddit's reporting form (report abuse is under "This is abusive or harassing"), where you can manually paste in the link.
This might also work on deleted posts and posts by people who've blocked you (it doesn't seem to error out, but I don't know for sure if those reports go anywhere; which is hard to tell, as usually nothing happens with report abuse reports regardless).
