Newly added emojis show up in user flair for new reddit but not on official mobile app

I saw that the emoji limit was recently increased, so I set out to add some new flairs to one of my subreddit.

Unfortunately, the emojis I have added only appear on New reddit, and are not appearing on Official mobile app (iOS). Here are some pictures to illustrate.

I don't think it's a subreddit/user issue because this issue persists even when looking from a separate user account, looking at a separate user account, and even on a separate subreddit. It also only affects the newly added emoji - the emoji I added last year display fine, even in user flair that contains both new and old emoji.

Is this a bug? Or am I doing something completely wrong?

I'm concerned because, like many subreddits, I know a large portion of our pageviews come from mobile apps, so it feels bad to add new emojis for user flairs when users won't be able to see them.

Is this still a known bug or was a fix implemented? I'm still not seeing user flair on the official Reddit app even when I assign it there. Thank you
