Modding on new reddit is fine for the most part, but in the last month or two a "feature" has been added that gives a popup notification when you remove a comment.
I didn't think it was that bad until I would remove whole comment chains, in which case you get a stack of like five or six of these and have to close out each one to see the rest of the chain that it covers up. What's more is that hitting the X to close out the post (say, from the queue) will close out the notifications *before* closing the post... so if I go to remove a chain and then want to close out the post I have to spam click the X to get back to the queue.
Why do we need this notification? I know the comment was removed, I removed it. We don't need feedback that everything we do went through. At the very least I'd like to be able to disable these notifications, as I can use my eyeballs to determine whether or not the comment was removed. I've looked all up and down the settings and can't figure out how to do so, if it's possible, which I assume it is not.
