Posts stuck in limbo after user's shadowban lifted; shows as approved (by "Reddit (shadowban removed)"), but it's not in /new at all. Possible Reddit bug?
Post Body

The post is rather NSFW, so going to link to the .json version: /r/PeeDesperationMemes/comments/nyxl0v/one_more_captiontype_image_while_im_at_it/.json

That sub is fairly low activity, so it's easy to see where it should appear in /new, but it doesn't. Originally this happened to 2 posts, both by that same user; I removed the one and approved it again, which did fix the issue. A few other mods have reported seeing this same bug, and it's not easy to spot when this happens, so I figured I'd report it here in case it is of any help in tracking down a bug. If the bug is already fixed or I don't get a response, I'll just fix the post the same way as the last, but wanted to leave it in the broken state in case it helps in identifying the issue.

Semi-unrelated, but figured I'd mention it again; my own posts/comments were never restored when my shadowban was lifted, though those remained spam-filtered rather than in limbo.. If it's not too much trouble, it'd be nice if someone could look into that as well as how/why someone's entire post history would get removed due to a shadowban that was lifted..

I've modmailed the sub, as a few other mods were running into this but having trouble tracking it down, as removing then restoring a post to fix it also wipes out any trace of a problem existing. If I don't get a reply, I'll just do that and move on I guess.

To clarify, the main issue is that that user's posts are approved, by Reddit itself, but they still don't show up in subreddits. So Reddit does sometimes restore all a user's posts, but it often goes wrong, and some are approved but never restored to subreddit listings. It's not even consistent per-user; that user posted mostly in that community, yet only 2 of their posts there were left in limbo, with the rest having been both approved and restored to listings. That's clearly an issue with the site; there isn't supposed to be a distinction between whether posts are approved and whether they appear in listings.

But I guess this will never get proper response, because now it's "answered", even tho I had more than one issue..
