in subreddit settings, unchecking "allow crossposting of posts" removes the specific "crosspost" button visible in old reddit. however, crossposting remains visible and usable in new reddit, via the "share" button.
frankly, if i don't want people crossposting content from my sub to other subreddits, i don't want them sharing it anywhere. not on facebook, not on twitter, not on tumblr. so while the crosspost function itself is pointless & broken thanks to new reddit, i'd rather just be able to eliminate the share button altogether.
also, if i've unchecked "allow this subreddit to be exposed to users in /r/all, /r/popular, default, and trending lists" & "allow this subreddit to be exposed to users who have shown intent or interest through discovery and onboarding," don't π¦ing recommend my sub to people in new reddit. especially don't recommend parenting subreddits to childfree people and vice versa.
