Good day all,
So I'd like to find out how to go about the identifying/shaming of specific users from my subreddit that have broken rules regarding the (sexual) harassment of the female users of my sub?
I've seen it done on one or two subreddits, but I also know that the identified users could make reports to Reddit claiming harassment and victimization by the moderators, and affectively get us warned and/or banned from Reddit.
As I run a NSFW subreddit where we have identified that female users that choose to participate in the sub are certain to receive harassment via PM, and then they subsequently either stop participating or they delete their accounts, due to the very harassment. I wanted to explore the option of using the shaming as a deterrent and scare tactic against the offenders.
I'm thinking we post the offender' usernames on a weekly post and state what each user has done to be listed, be it send an unsolicited dick pic, etc. If allowed by Reddit, I would also like to have evidence of the behaviour in a form of a screenshot linked to the post. But I'm unsure about if that would be allowed.
And yes, I know and understand that this is simply something that will happen on the internet, and banning of the offenders from the sub and reporting them to Reddit are my go to options.
But I'd like to explore this as another tactic to combat the issues my female users face. Any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated!
That is not allowed on reddit and would be considered harassment and sharing of private information.

They are also not allowed to do it, doesn’t mean they haven’t done it.
As a NSFW mod and NSFW content poster I strongly recommend users to turn their DMs off. My communities comments sections are highly filtered by automod, but we are unable to police private PMs/DMs.
The individual user can report those harassing users from their private inboxes, but you cannot.
