So let me get this out of the way. There was a user that was temporarily banned from a subreddit that I moderate by another moderator. Subsequently, they created around 4 burner accounts for the sole purpose of harrassing us in modmail, which we then responded by perma-banning those accounts until we ultimately decided to perma-ban the original account as well. What's more, the alt accounts specifically name the original account along the lines of "you banned my account [insert original account name here]".
One of the older moderators in the same subreddit decided to take action, but nothing happened. Similarly, I decided to take it to /r/modsupport through their forms. I provided the usernames, from the original account to all the burners that they used. However, as I mentioned before, they deleted all their burners already so any action taken against them was useless. Hell, I even saw them delete it in real time as I was replying to one of their messages from their burner, like I saw their inflammatory username change to [deleted]. But every time I filled out those forms and got a response back, they took no action whatsoever against the original account. I just want to emphasize that point, because I clearly remember including the original account in my first report on ban evasion, but the actions taken the first, second, and third times were only against the ban-evading accounts that were already deleted.
And just recently, I filled out another inquiry pasting directly from modmail where one of the ban-evading accounts specifically named the original account by name, but all I got was a response saying that action was taken against the ban-evading account, and not the original account after trying many times to emphasize that.
I've tried to resolve this via forms, but this was not the outcome I've gotten when I reached out for similar issues in the past. Hence, this is what brings me here so that it can be resolved in this way.
