Why can some notifications not be archived in modmail? I have never understood why some subs do this and not others. Am I just not seeing a setting?

That makes sense. I was just confused why in some subs it could be archived and some it couldn't. I understand the reason why tho. It would be cool if it has a sunset after like say 10 days then is eligible to archive. Thanks for looking into it!

There is no option to archive it, and there is a green line on the left side of it when you're on the inbox view. I have a few of these in "Notifications" from all sorts of subs that are just sort of there forever because they cannot be archived like a regular message like this one-

I guess I am just curious why some are able to be archived and others are not. Thank you for looking into this for me. I am pretty fluent at Reddit, so I just can't figure out if its a setting I just don't know about or what. Frustrating haha.
