It might be wishful thinking, but I just really want to see one round of Kingdom dedicated to the participating groups doing cover tributes of different TVXQ songs. They will probably have at least one round where they do covers of senior groups (like they did in Road to Kingdom), so it’d be really interesting if they switched it up a little bit one time and had one of the rounds focus on TVXQ songs.

What’s more is that most junior boy groups have probably covered at least one TVXQ song during their career (ex: I know TBZ have done Mirotic, Rising Sun, and Hug). But it’d be really fun to see the groups on Kingdom branch outside of the usual cover songs like Mirotic. TVXQ are a legendary group with a huge and diverse discography - so not only would having a tribute round be a good homage to them as a respected senior group and as the show’s MCs, but we could also get a good variety of different concepts and stages for each group to try out.

For example, I’d personally love to see junior groups cover songs like Catch Me, Something, O Jung Ban Hap, Keep Your Head Down (all of which are legendary in their own right, like Mirotic). They even have ‘softer concepts’ like Balloons and Hug, and emotional power ballads like Love in the Ice. It’d be really amazing to see covers of any of these, and there’s so much potential for groups to show off their hidden talents in different areas for each of these songs.

Do you guys have any particular TVXQ songs you’d also like to see your bias group cover (even if this doesn’t happen in Kingdom)? And otherwise, what else do you want to see from TVXQ as MCs on the show? I know a lot of people are looking forward to the interactions between the “big/little” Yunhos and Changmins as well 😅

(and just a disclaimer as to why I wrote this post: I’m mainly a TBZ fan, but TVXQ were my earliest ults, so finding out that they’d be the MCs made me so excited to see them as part of this show. So I really wanted to talk about them more as well, in addition to all the groups participating!)
