Audio glitch on GBA?

Does anyone else got glitchy audio consistently on GBA games? I'm using onion os. If I let the console sit on a static gba screen every minute or so the audio will glitch out for about 2 seconds.

Edit: Wow if you are playing GBA and haven't tried onion os 3.10 the sound is VASTLY improved. No more tinny scratchy poppy stuff and no more audio glitches.

I assumed it was just the tiny size of the speaker causing the poor audio but damn they solved it! :0
