So years ago I met this fella, a driller who went by the initials AC.

I remember it very clearly, I flew in for my first stint to Mt Isa where I had to board a charter plane to another place called Burketown.

When I hopped into the shuttle to the charter we bumped our arms together. Idk what it was but it felt like a jolt of electricity, like a shock between us.

I couldn't look him in the eye after that but he felt it too. He did keep making the most beautiful coffee for me every morning whilst I was working.

One thing led to another and we actually enjoyed each other's company. Turns out we also lived pretty close to one other ( north bris big fish ways ) and I recall one morning checking the mailbox to find a hand written note from him with his new number as he lost his phone ect and he also rode a kids bike all the way to me to drop it off haha.

I recall the moment in bris at a mates place where we shared the shower, enjoyed a coffee whilst reading the paper in silence.

But moment was shattered due to my ex who I broke up with not long prior decided to ruin it all and that's when he said that he didn't want to go further cause of the drama and he had to sort his stuff too.

Honestly we didn't even do the deed but I've always wondered where he is at.. With those beautiful eyes.
