It's just so hard sometimes

I don't even know what prompted it tonight but I miss my baby. I'm so sad I never got to meet them. They might've been walking by now and babbling on with silly noises with a few simple words here and there. And I wish I could've seen them do it. Seen their smile. Heard them laugh. Heard them cry. Wipe their tears away and hold them.
