29F been on Mirt for 4 weeks, first 2 I ate like mad - especially sugar/carbs/sweets. I’ve had a long standing ED and have been trying to lose weight after a bad bingeing period. But since taking the meds I’ve continuously gained.
Last 2 weeks I’ve been walking 20k steps a day, calorie counting, eating well (no junk) and in a deficit but weighed myself today and I’ve shot up in weight! I’m trying not to get upset or stop the meds as they have greatly helped my OVD/GAD but I don’t want to keep piling weight on.
can you actually lose? All I ever see is people saying they gained and couldn’t stop
You can. If you're REALLY careful about what you eat and workout everyday. But yes, it's very difficult because the cravings are INSANE.

I lost weight on trazodone after mirtazapine but my mental health was like I wasn't taking anything (so really bad) so I went back to Mirt.
