Am I the only one that's getting frustrated and upset with how many people (mainly on twitter) are saying that everything needs to be burned? I'm pissed about Floyd's murder too, but I don't want to see the city I love destroyed. And honestly the riots were probably started by someone manipulating outrage for their own personal goals.
I don't care about Target and Autozone as much as I do for Studiiyo3 or the restaurants in the area.
Idk if you're not part of the community then quit talking what Minneapolis needs to destroy and loot! We appreciate the care and support but people need a store to get groceries, those businesses have employees, and frankly Minneapolis needs to focus on fixing the horribly broken MPD and they're drunken power mindset and charging the criminals that killed George Floyd.
I'd rather we spend our energy shaming killer cops like Derek Chauvin than screaming about corporations that must be torn down brick by brick because, ultimately, locals are the ones who work there and we're in a pandemic!
Justice for Floyd and all others that have been killed by law enforcement. We cannot forget that.
Edit: in or from, y'all get what I mean
