Observations from an out-of-state American
Post Body

I am slowly dissecting this situation and send well wishes to those affected by the entire situation... Family, friends close to George Floyd, innocent people caught in the middle, and the protestors and even certain police who were unjustly attacked.

I observed that the mainstream national news sources are not actually reporting on the fires and the realities of the riots. Independent sources and local news sources reveal the realities. It seems that America is not being shown the reality behind this entire scene. For reference, as a southern man, I was under the impression from major news networks that this is just people marching on the street with occasional groups aggressively pushing signs and posters to protest.

I also observed that what started out as peaceful protestors, have brought out the rioters. It appears that while many protestors are actively out, another community came to play. The rioters and anarchists with already deep rooted hate to the city and state enforcements. While I believe in justice, I believe the new community setting fire, rioting and looting are the same people who needed just another trigger to begin rioting.

Translating this to the rest of America, police and state officials must be on top of their game in the next 18 months of the rising depression. We cannot have another racist death. Specifically concerning race. Race is the one thing that has caused America to go mad in the past. And today, it happens to be that it’s not the black, white, Asian or Hispanic groups fighting one another. Today it just so happens that racism will band many communities together to fight state-order.

On a final note, a university I attended held amazing student-led research studies. Three in particular caught my interest. Three were focused on world war 3. Three of them, all from different universities, stated world war three is not just country vs country, but more importantly, people vs the state (government). That is very extreme, but with what’s happening around in the world, I find their studies to be at the least, interesting.
