Any powerful/low power ARM solutions for openmedia vault/NAS?

Apple charges WAY too much for storage, and I really want to just backup some basic photos/videos that I don't access very often, so don't need them on super high speed NVME drives that costs a fortune ( $400gb) to ugprade.

What would your favorite solution be to have a relatively low power file server that could run openmediavault or similar to backup files to, and maybe run plex to playback some videos?
