SO my main desktop tower has seemingly died tonight unfortunately, and at the moment all I really have available is a small work laptop that I have. THis of course isn't the greatest machine, so I was wondering which brands tend to have the best quality control for Mini PCS?
The reason I am going with Mini PCs is that I'm in a bit of a strange place right now as far as my need for performance is concerned-- On the one hand, I am blind, so I don't really rqeuire high amounts of graphics performance since I can just neuter the quality settings, but on the other hand, I want something with fast specs otherwise, like fast storage, ram, cpu, etc etc, so that's what dragged me into this community here.
I see lots of talk about beelink being pretty good, but their subreddit is almost entirely comprised of users complaining about quality control related issues they are having with their systems, so it makes me really uneasy.
I live in America as well, so part of the reason that I dont know if I should go with a chinese manufacturer is because if something goes wrongw ith the machine, I dont want to have to ship it off to china, but that would be the most likely outcome, unfortunately.
Thoughts about this? Would love to know what you guys think <3 Thanks!
