This is a Thunderbolt hard drive cage. Plenty of space inside and was looking to stick a stripped mini PC inside. The dimensions are 7.5โ x 4.5โ x 1.75โ internally thatโs available. Other features: 15w thunderbolt port Has DP out and 2nd TB3
Wanted to created the smallest intel NAS was 4 3.5โ drive bays, smaller than synology, 170 mm x 128 mm x 238 mm 5.2Liters. Benefits include daisy chain and PCIe expansion.
The case has a handle so it is completely portable. Need a mini PC that can do thunderbolt and if possible be powered by 15w thunderbolt connection. If not possible, may be wire the power source from the cage (180w), included photos of the internal boards and not sure where to begin. This would become my offsite pack up โbug out bagโ data store.
