old mod help

Years ago and I mean along time ago I was big into minecraft YouTube watching people play mods because I couldn't play them. There was this one mod where there was a kingdom and npcs who would give you quest and items as did X Y and Z . The more you did the bigger the kingdom got or you could build your own from the ground up with npc workers. I know this is vague but it's all I remember it was a new mod around peak captianSparkels and Tobuscus YouTube if that helps :(
