So I haven't played in many months, came back and when I try to play with a friend, firstly I couldn't add them (sent them an invite which they didn't receive), they had to add me.

Now I'm trying to play with them, we're both online but for me it says they're offline and for them, I'm offline. I join my world and send them an invite but they click on it and said they have to be friends with someone in the world. According to both of our profiles, we are friends with each other. Can someone please help us urgently.
