I feel like there has been a lack of blocks being added for people who just want to build. Personal opinion so halt the pitchforks.

Anyway, something simple, like paint would be nice. I mean, we can already dye wool. Why not make wood dyable? Maybe even make it so the different types of wood become different shades, so the white tree would become a bright purple and the snow biome trees would be a darker dusky purple.

If a dying tub was added, it could work similar to a furnace. In the bottom put water and the dye you want (giving buckets of water another use) and in the top, put whatever you are trying to dye. After so many items dyed, both water and dye have to be replenished.

Obviously I'm not a programmer, but I'm sure the latter idea would be harder to implement. I think just letting wood be dyable should be simple since it's already kinda programmed in with the wool. Anyone else think this might be a good idea?
