I can’t use my purchased skins on bedrock

Every time I try to swap skins it and exit out of the edit character menu it says “switching to classics skins” and changes it back to Alex or Steve. I have restarted the game, restarted my hardware, hard reset my software, restarted my router, and logged out if Microsoft and logged back in. I don’t know what to do and I need help.
