Hello fellow Minecrafters, Kinten here from Oxeye (the guys behind Cobalt). First and foremost I'd like to thank all of you who attended Mineon! I had such a great time meeting and talking to all of you. It has sincerely been the best weekend of my life! Secondly I would like to forward a huge THANK YOU to Lydia aka MinecraftChick from all of us at Oxeye! For those of you who followed the event from home I can assure you you've only seen a fraction of the work and dedication that she's put into realizing this. She is the sole reason Minecon was such a great success!

With that said I just want to add how incredibly sad it makes me to see posts slandering MinecrafChick beeing upvoted here on Reddit. I genuinly feel that the Minecraft community has the potential of becoming something great, but the moment we lower ourselves to slandering and bullying solely based on personality and character than we have failed. You people who upvote posts like that are not part of my Minecraft community.

I know the haters are the ones that usually shouts the loudest, but this time it's time for all of you who usually keeps quiet to step up and show your appreciation

EDIT2: Hey all! Finally back in Sweden and back to the internet! Seems like things took off after I left. First of all let me just say I'm sorry for that tweet I sent away before getting on the plane. Clearly I do not understand how reddit works and I feel like such an ass for judging this community based on so little. I'm truly sorry for that. Won't happen again!

Secondly, let me clarify a few things. When I talk about slandering I do not mean voicing ones opinion or giving negative feedback - those things are more than welcome in my book. I'm talking about the pure bullshit - calling people names or wishing them dead based on what they look like or how they act.

Now I'm not going to say I'm sorry for thinking stuff like that is f-d up. If you hate me or anyone else for thinking so than so be it. It's just sad that the community seem to have come to that.
