Understanding explosions
Post Body

Hi all. I'm a bit new to the game, and I'm a bit curious as to how explosions work. I've tried looking into it, but I've mainly only learned the fact that some explosions are more powerful than others.

I really want to know the dimensions of the destruction area for a given blast depending on certain variables. For the most part, it'd be good to know how thick a wall/floor needs to be to still be standing (no gaps) after a standard creeper explosion. I've heard some materials have higher blast resistance than others, will barriers made of stronger materials mitigate the damage?

I'd appreciate any feedback
