Minecraft android lag

I got a brand new device galaxy tab s7 with a snapdragon 865 and 8gb ram with 512gb ufs3.0 storage. But the game still lags and won't run at 60fps. It's mostly around 30-40fps with dips into the 20fps range. How is it running for you?
