As the tittle says, I'm new, I am trying to make a mob farm but I can't figure it out, I did a standard room with water far away from spawnable areas and in 20 minutes I got 3 spawns total... It seems like, even with 4 block thick walls, light is getting in. I'm on normal difficulty so that isn't an issue and I stand 20-30 blocks away so the spawn range should be fine. I suck at redstone so it is incredibly basic and I'm in survival so building in the sky limits my design choice so its not like I screwed that up... I even built the structure twice in survival and once in creative, same results every time. Almost nothing. I need need need help with this, I'm going insane!
