When 1.16 nether update rolls out will the new biomes generate in 1.15 chunks? I don't remember the process for when they update the terrain generator but I feel like I will have to travel far and wide to find new biomes post 1.15. If I do have to go far out to generate the updated biomes will I still be able to reset my nether file and generate new biomes near my first nether chunk? I would rather continue with my overworld and just scrap what little I have done to my nether but I fear I might need to start a new world because I won't be able to have my cake and eat it too.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might occur when the update comes out?
