Forgive me I'm on mobile, and on Xbox one. So I played Minecraft super casual with one of my online friends, like way back probably 2015 time. Basically he was my well of knowledge and now I don't know what I'm doing. I read the wiki and I'm rather confused on how all this works. Most of the info is in keyboard talk and it's confusing to understand unfortunately.

I would also like to know based in your experience, what armor works best? Is it gold? Should I trade for more emeralds? As well as swords for killing. I'm trying to get to the nether and to the ender dragon :)

Edited to add: So far I'm trying to: Mine diamond, Tame a horse, Tame a llama, Mine obsidian, Trade with villagers, Make specific crops, Befriend the cats in the village god they're cute 😭 Fishing

So far I've: Built a home (dang zombies) Made a crafting table, Smelted iron and gold, Killed a trader for his llamas, Traded 15 coal for an emerald, Traded an emerald for a stone pickaxe ( I was confused ok?)
