Minecraft on Windows 10 with switch pro controller

Hello, trying to fix an issue. I'm trying to play Minecraft with a switch pro controller on PC.
It works just fine except that the sticks only put in about half input, meaning that moving and turning is incredibly slow. Also, sprinting does not work.
Is there any way to fix this?
